Year 6 2020 - 2021

Mrs Wallis (6W) and Mr Maddock (6M)

Teaching Assistant:  Mr Chesworth

We hope that you and your families are all in good health.

We have now reached the end of your time here at Lingham Primary School and there are a few things we would like to share with you before you make the exciting journey to high school. Firstly, it has been an honour for us to teach you all this year (albeit for less time than we expected!) and watch you mature as classes. When it was time to roll up your sleeves and do some serious learning, you were ready and willing to give your all to achieve your best. Whilst you did not get the chance to showcase your hard earned knowledge in the SATs, the readiness you displayed was admirable. As you face the world now, be assured that you can be absolutely anything that you want to be in life, so long as you are prepared to work hard for it.

We would like to congratulate you all on surviving this roller coaster of a year and on reaching the finish line! As Dr. Seuss once wrote, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” This might be a metaphor too, for your time at Lingham Primary School. It has certainly been a privilege for us to have been your final teachers and we wish you all the best of luck in the future and hope that you leave with lots of happy memories.

Don’t forget that you can still access all the work that has been set on School Spider during Lockdown, as well as all of the online resources below. If you would like a copy of the Memory work that we did, please contact the school office to let us know.

Enjoy the Summer holidays!

Best wishes,

Mrs Wallis, Mr Maddock and Mr Chesworth

A Message from Miss Malcolm

A huge well done to all of our Year 6 2020!

You've been amazing and worked extremely hard throughout your time at Lingham Primary School and your memory work is lovely to see. You've made lots of incredible memories for us all. You'll all have lots of good memories to take with you to Secondary School in September. Your new schools are lucky to have you and I'm sure you will all go from strength to strength as you tackle Secondary School with the same enthusiasm and enjoyment as you've shown so far. Best wishes from me! Keep smiling and keep being kind. I'm sure you'll all go far. Enjoy the next adventure.

Miss Malcolm
