Uniform

Nursery to Year 6:

  • White Polo Shirt (with Lingham logo) or plain white shirt
  • Grey trousers or skirt
  • Royal blue jumper, sweatshirt or cardigan (with Lingham logo)
  • White or grey socks
  • Plain black school shoes

PE Kit:

  • White t-shirt (preferably with Lingham logo)
  • Black shorts, leggings or sweatpants
  • Trainers (not converse/pumps)
  • Plain black sweatshirt/zip up top for cooler weather

Jewellery and watches:

No jewellery – only small, plain stud earrings are allowed and these must be removed for swimming or PE.

Children can wear a watch but not a smart watch which connects to mobile phones/internet etc.

Hair and make-up:

Make-up, nail varnish, false nails including gel nails and temporary tattoos are not allowed.

Long hair should always be tied back for health & safety reasons.

Any headbands or bobbles should preferably be plain or reflect school colours.

At Lingham, uniform is compulsory.  Wearing a uniform sets a boundary by placing children in a ‘working environment’ mindset and helps them separate their home and school life. As an inclusive school, if your child has sensory needs, you will need to discuss this with your class teacher so that we can work to find a suitable solution.
