School Meals
Our in-house catering team provide freshly made meals cooked from scratch using ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
The lunchtime choice and menus have been developed in consultation with our children to tempt young palates and offer healthy food both in content and preparation.
Our menus adhere to nutritional regulations.
We have taken children’s favourite dishes and made them healthier using fresh ingredients.
All children must have either packed lunches OR school meals.
You must inform the school office 1 week in advance of changing from one to the other, by emailing schooloffice@lingham.wirral.sch.uk
Please see below for our school menu
School Meals Payments
We are a cashless school and all meal payments must be made via ParentPay on a weekly basis in advance at £2.34 per meal (£11.70 per week)
Packed Lunches
Packed lunches must NOT contain any NUT based products, we have children in school with severe allergies. Please help us to keep them safe. Check snack bars when packing lunches in particular:- Kinder Bueno, Nutella and Muesli bars can all contain nuts.

Information regarding those who are eligible for Free School Meals is kept strictly confidential at Lingham Primary School. All children and families are treated in the same way; there is no difference in the meal provided for a child who has a paid school meal.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
All children in Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). This does not depend on your household income or whether you receive any benefits – every child in these year groups is eligible to take up the offer.
If your child is in Foundation 2, Year 1 or Year 2, they will receive a UIFSM. However, if you meet the eligibility criteria for free school meals above, it is extremely important that you claim for this. Schools receive Pupil Premium funding from the government for every child that is or has been registered for Free School Meals at any time in the last six years.
For further information on how we use the Pupil Premium Grant at Lingham Primary School, please see the Pupil Premium Strategy Statement published on this website.
