ECO School
At Lingham Primary School we are proud to guide and empower children to make our school more sustainable, increase environmental learning and benefit the local community. At our school, we instill a sense of responsiblity and cutlivate a sustainable mindset which pupils apply on a daily basis. We equip children with the drive to really make a difference and to spread such proactive behaviour amongst the community and untimately future generations.
Our Eco Commitee meets throughout the academic year, to plan and deliver environmental projects to enspire other pupils and the wider community. Child led projects have included littler picking in school and the community, gardening, walk to school initiatives, recycling events and other schemes to help pupils reflect upon their environmental impact.
Role of the Eco Leader:
A) To support an environmental review and create an action plan
B) To meet regularly throughout the year to deliver environmental projects
C) To share work and ideas through assemblies, newletters and website
D) To monitor and evaluate the impact of various initiatives
E) Set up and monitor equipment
